Best Schools in Jaipur

Last checked: 19 Oct 2026. This is a short, hand-picked list of eight well-established Jaipur schools, selected from a much larger pool. It is not a ranking, and the order does not reflect merit. We listed them by the founding year each school states, and schools that do not state a clear year on the pages we read come last.

For every school below we compared two things: the affiliation shown in the relevant board’s own public register (the CISCE school locator for ICSE/ISC schools and the CBSE SARAS affiliated-schools directory for CBSE schools), and what the school says about itself on its official website. Where we could not confirm something, we say “see site” instead of guessing. Fees, seat availability and admission rules change every year, so please confirm them directly with each school.

Board coverage. Most of the schools we could verify in Jaipur are CBSE schools. Only one ICSE school is listed, and none of the listed schools is an ISC or IB school as far as we could verify. The CISCE locator shows a few other Jaipur schools, but we could not complete the second-source check for them, so we left them out. Rajasthan Board (RBSE) schools are not covered in this round. If your family wants ICSE, ISC, IB or RBSE, please check the boards’ registers directly.

The 8 schools at a glance

1. Seedling Public School (Jawahar Nagar)

The Seedling Group says it was established in Jaipur in 1992 and lists Seedling Public School as one of its CBSE campuses (Class 1 to 12). The CBSE SARAS directory lists it at senior secondary level (affiliation no. 1730084), at Park Lane, Sector IV, Jawahar Nagar. The group also runs Cambridge-curriculum campuses; we did not verify the Cambridge claim. Official website.

2. Seedling Modern High School (Durgapura (Mahaveer Nagar II))

This is another CBSE campus of the Seedling Group, which gives 1992 as its founding year; we did not find a separate year for this campus. The CBSE SARAS directory lists it at senior secondary level (affiliation no. 1730148) on Ashok Marg, Mahaveer Nagar II, Durgapura. Official website.

3. Neerja Modi School (Mansarovar)

The school says it was founded in April 2001 and serves kindergarten to Class 12. Its homepage shows CBSE affiliation number 1730210 marked as provisional. The CBSE SARAS directory lists the same number, but at secondary level only, so if you are looking at Classes 11-12 please ask the school for its current affiliation status in writing. Official website.

4. Jayshree Periwal High School (Ajmer Road (Chitrakoot Scheme))

The school’s website highlights its CBSE board results and gives its address as Chitrakoot Scheme, Ajmer Road. The CBSE SARAS directory lists it at senior secondary level (affiliation no. 1730189). We did not find a clear founding year on the pages we read. Official website.

5. Jayshree Periwal Global School (Jagatpura)

The school’s notices refer to both CBSE and IGCSE classes. The CBSE SARAS directory lists it at senior secondary level (affiliation no. 1730938), near VIT College on NRI Road, Jagatpura. The IGCSE track comes only from the school’s own site, so we have not verified it. Official website.

6. Mayoor School Jaipur (Sitapura (EPIP))

The school describes itself as an English-medium CBSE school. The CBSE SARAS directory lists it at senior secondary level (affiliation no. 1731182) at ITS 1, IT Park, EPIP, Sitapura. We did not find a clear founding year on the pages we read. Official website.

7. Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School (Jagatpura)

The school’s website describes its vision and mission and links to its mandatory public disclosure, but the pages we read did not state the board in plain words. The CBSE SARAS directory lists it at senior secondary level (affiliation no. 1730412) at Mahal Yojna, near Central Spine, Jagatpura. Please check the board and classes directly with the school. Official website.

8. Milieu Field School (Galta Road)

The school’s website calls it a CISCE, English-medium, co-educational school at 101 Galta Road, and its admission notice mentions CISCE for Classes 1 to 10 and RBSE for Classes 11 to 12. The CISCE locator lists it with ICSE only (no ISC), which matches that arrangement. This is the only ICSE school in our Jaipur list. Official website.

How to shortlist for your child

  • Start with the board your family prefers, then check that the school offers it for the classes you need. At Milieu Field School, for example, the school itself says Classes 11-12 follow a different board.
  • Several names above belong to school groups with more than one campus in Jaipur. Confirm which campus and which affiliation number applies to the class your child will join.
  • Visit the admissions page of each school for current age criteria, forms and dates, and note that these differ from one school to another.
  • Ask for the current fee structure in writing from the school; we do not quote fees here.
  • Jaipur is spread out, and some of these campuses are on the edges of the city such as Jagatpura and Sitapura. Check the daily commute and school transport before you decide.
  • Ask the school to show its current affiliation certificate, especially if the affiliation is marked provisional.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a ranking of the best schools in Jaipur?

No. It is a hand-picked selection of schools whose board affiliation and basic details we could verify, listed by founding year. A school that is not listed is not necessarily weaker; it may simply be one we could not verify in this round.

Why are almost all the schools CBSE?

Those are the schools we could confirm against both the CBSE directory and the school’s own website. The CISCE locator shows only a handful of Jaipur schools, and we could not complete the second-source check for most of them.

Is there an IB or Rajasthan Board school in this list?

No. We did not verify any IB or Rajasthan Board (RBSE) schools against two sources in this round, so we did not list them.

How can I check that a school is really affiliated?

Look the school up in the board’s own register: the CBSE SARAS affiliated-schools directory for CBSE schools or the CISCE school locator for ICSE/ISC schools. Match the name, area and affiliation number with what the school shows on its website, and note whether the affiliation is regular or provisional.

Why are there no fee figures?

Fees change every year and differ by class and campus. We only mention figures if they are published on the school’s official site, and for this list we leave them out. Please ask each school for its current fee structure.

About this list

Board affiliation was read from the CISCE school locator (ICSE/ISC) and the CBSE SARAS affiliated-schools directory (CBSE) and compared with each school’s official website. Facts that appeared on only one source were left out. Everything here was last checked on 19 Oct 2026; schools update their pages and boards update their registers, so please verify the details that matter to you before applying.
