RRB JE Admit Card

RRB JE Admit Card 2026: City Slip, Download, Documents

For the RRB JE CEN 05/2025 recruitment, the admit card is downloaded from your regional RRB website using your registration number and date of birth (or password). Note that there is also a newer, separate recruitment, RRB JE CEN 04/2026, for which CBT 1 is reported for 27 and 28 October 2026 in three shifts a day, with admit cards reported released from 23 October 2026 (the original schedule also had 30 October, which a revision dated 2 October reportedly dropped). If you applied under that notice, download your admit card now. For the older CEN 05/2025 recruitment, the CBT stages are over, CBT 2 results were reported on 16 September 2026, and the next call, for document verification, will come as an e-call letter.

City intimation slip vs admit card

These are two different documents.

  • City intimation slip: released a few days before the exam. It tells you the exam city, date and shift so that you can book travel. It is not an entry pass.
  • Admit card (e-call letter): released about four days before your exam date, as reported. It carries your exam centre address, reporting time and instructions. Without it you cannot enter the centre.

How to download

  1. Open the website of the RRB region you applied to (for example, rrbcdg.gov.in or the regional site listed on the official RRB notice).
  2. Click the link for CEN 05/2025 admit card or e-call letter.
  3. Enter your registration number or user ID, and your date of birth or password.
  4. Submit, and then download the PDF and print it clearly.

Download it more than once if the link works, because sites get slow on the last day. Check name, photo, date, shift and centre for errors, and report problems at once using the helpdesk mentioned on the notice.

Exam shifts and format

CBT 1 had three shifts on each exam day: 9:00 to 10:30 AM, 12:45 to 2:15 PM and 4:30 to 6:00 PM, with reporting 90 minutes before. The paper is 100 questions in 90 minutes with a one-third mark deducted for each wrong answer. CBT 1 is reported to be section-wise: Mathematics (30), General Intelligence and Reasoning (25), General Awareness (15) and General Science (30). Candidates with a scribe get extra time.

Documents to carry to the centre

  • Printed admit card (e-call letter)
  • Original Aadhaar card or a printout of your e-verified Aadhaar, as Aadhaar-based biometric authentication was required at the centre
  • A valid original photo ID if the notice asks for one (Voter ID, PAN card, driving licence or passport were listed in one report)
  • Any other item named in your admit card, such as a scribe form

Make sure your Aadhaar biometrics are unlocked on the UIDAI website before the exam day. Do not carry mobile phones, smart watches or electronic items into the hall.

What is the current stage?

The selection steps are CBT 1, CBT 2, document verification and a medical examination. A third-party report said document verification and medical dates would be announced separately. For that stage, expect an e-call letter on your regional RRB site listing the documents to bring. Rely only on that official notice, not on social media posts.

Safety tips

  • Use only official RRB regional websites; there are many fake sites.
  • RRB never asks for money to give an admit card.
  • Reach the centre at the reporting time on the admit card, since late entry is usually not allowed.
  • Visit the centre location a day earlier, if possible.

Region names and website addresses differ, so always start from the region you chose in your application.

Who got which admit card?

Only candidates shortlisted from CBT 1 could download the CBT 2 admit card. Candidates not shortlisted do not receive further call letters for this recruitment. If your login says the link is not available, check the shortlisted roll number list published on the regional site after the result.

Always check the CEN number on the document you download. CEN 05/2025 is the older JE, DMS and CMA notification discussed in most of this guide. For the newer CEN 04/2026 CBT 1, reports say the shifts are 9:00 to 10:30 AM, 12:45 to 2:15 PM and 4:30 to 6:00 PM, with reporting at 7:30 AM, 11:15 AM and 3:00 PM and the gate closing an hour later. Carry a printed admit card (a phone copy is not accepted, per one report), an original valid photo ID and passport-size photographs as your admit card instructs, and follow any advance ID authentication step named in your regional notice.

Reporting time and exam-day routine

On exam day, reach the centre well before the reporting time printed on the admit card. Staff will check your documents, take your biometrics and seat you at a computer. Read the instructions on the admit card the night before, keep your documents in one folder, and carry a pen only if the notice allows it.

Conclusion

If you are looking for an “RRB JE admit card 2026” today, there are two cases. For the new CEN 04/2026 CBT 1 (reported for 27 and 28 October), download it from your regional RRB site or the link it provides now. For the older CEN 05/2025 recruitment, the CBT stages have passed and the next document is likely a document verification call letter. Keep your registration number, date of birth and Aadhaar handy.
